HAND would like to provide an important update regarding the FY2026 CoC Program Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
In response to the Appeal Court lifting the stay on the FY2026 NOFO, HUD re-released the FY2026 NOFO on September 18. As a result, the decisions made by the CoC Board at its August 10 meeting regarding new project awards and project ranking can now be implemented.
The CoC Application, along with all project applications, must be submitted to HUD no later than September 30. With just a short timeframe remaining before HUD's submission deadline, a Special General Membership Meeting is being called on September 28th at 1:30pm. As outlined in the Governance Charter, the General Membership is responsible for voting on the application that the community submits to HUD for CoC funding. Therefore, it is imperative that you or your alternate attends the meeting to establish quorum and cast your vote.
We want to sincerely thank each of you for your contributions throughout this year's NOFO process. As we move through this final phase, we ask for your continued engagement, flexibility, and responsiveness as we work together to meet the September 30 deadline.
