CAM Training Consultant

HAND is seeking a qualified consultant or contractor to support updates to CAM training materials and onboarding tools. CAM serves as the front door to the homeless response system for Detroit, Hamtramck, and Highland Park by helping connect people experiencing homelessness to shelter and housing resources as they are available.

Because CAM is implemented across multiple partner agencies and staff roles, training materials must be clear, consistent, realistic, and easy to use. HAND is seeking support to update the existing CAM 101 training and create component-based onboarding checklists that can be used by supervisors and staff across CAM roles.

The goal of this project is to create training materials that help new and existing CAM staff understand CAM’s purpose, workflows, expectations, client interaction standards, data systems, referral processes, and connection to the broader homeless response system.
