Detroit CoC HMIS Operating Policies and Procedures
The 2023 Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) Operating Policies & Procedures manual was approved by the Detroit CoC Board of Directors on May 1, 2023. The document includes the minimum standard of participation in the Michigan Statewide Homeless Management Information System (MSHMIS) along with HMIS requirements specific to the Detroit CoC.
This document is updated routinely as part of an annual review process and/or to align with the HUD Data Standards and the MSHMIS Operating Policies and Procedures, which regulate the Detroit CoC’s participation in the MSHMIS.
All HMIS users are required to familiarize themselves with the manual, complete training, and sign & submit a fully executed Acknowledgement Form through our HMIS Support Portal at https://hmis.handetroit.org/portal.
