MSHDA Non-Congregate Shelter (NCS) Funding Opportunity

The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) is making funds available for the acquisition, construction, and/or rehabilitation of Non-Congregate Shelters (NCS). Per MSHDA’s Request for Proposals (RFP) only one request for funding may be submitted from a CoC. Details on MSHDA’s RFP may be found at MSHDA’s website here.

Agencies in Detroit intending to apply for MSHDA NCS funding must first submit an application to the Detroit CoC by 11:59 pm on April 21, 2023. The CoC will review these applications and make a determination on which agency may submit to MSHDA. Note: the application due to the CoC is different than the application agencies will ultimately submit to MSHDA. Please review the documents linked below closely.

  • The selection process the CoC will use to determine which shelter project to submit to MSHDA may be found here.

  • The Word format of the application to be submitted to the CoC may be found here.

These applications are due to the CoC by 11:59 pm on April 21, 2023.
