Housing Partnerships
HAND and the Detroit Continuum of Care invite housing providers, property owners, developers, property managers, and other community partners to connect with Detroit’s homelessness response system. Ending homelessness in Detroit, Hamtramck, and Highland Park requires multiple housing solutions, including but not limited to Continuum of Care housing. The Detroit CoC encourages organizations with housing units, development plans, supportive housing opportunities, or an innovative housing models to join us in ending homelessness.

Expectations
Housing partners should be prepared to demonstrate that units, properties, programs, or projects meet certain standards. This could include a City of Detroit Certificate of Compliance, proof of funding, and compliance with local, county, state, federal, or program-specific requirements.
Who Should Complete This Form
This form is intended for organizations and individuals interested in partnering with our system to expand access to safe, stable, and appropriate housing options for people experiencing homelessness. The information submitted through the form helps us understand your housing resource, partnership goals, and potential fit within the system. Each housing initiative is different, and not every opportunity will align with our system.
After You Submit
A member of the team will review your information and follow up in a timely manner. The next step includes an introductory conversation to discuss your vision for partnership and about our local homelessness response system.
Depending on the proposed partnership, additional steps may include meeting with the partnership team, and completing an in-person health and safety review of the unit, property, or development. Housing opportunities must meet specific standards and be appropriate for the program or partnership model being proposed.
