FEMA COVID-19 Funeral Assistance
If you paid for funeral expenses after January 20, 2020, for an individual whose death may have been caused or likely the result of COVID-19 you can apply for up to $9,000 for funeral assistance.
Start the application process by calling FEMA's COVID-19 Funeral Assistance Line at 844-684-6333; TTY 800-462-7585, Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 9 PM ET. No online applications accepted. Multilingual services available.

Funding Opportunity: New Continuum of Care Programming for FY2021
The Homeless Action Network of Detroit (HAND) will be holding an informational webinar on Wednesday, May 19, at 9:30 am for agencies interested in applying for new Continuum of Care (CoC) project funding. Agencies interested in applying for new Continuum of Care (CoC) funding are strongly encouraged to attend this webinar. A recording of this webinar, along with additional application materials will be posted here.
The CoC will be considering applications for new project funding for the following types of projects: Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), Rapid Rehousing (RRH), and Coordinated Entry Supportive Services Only (CE-SSO).
The CoC will also consider applications for new RRH projects specifically targeted to persons fleeing Domestic Violence/Human Trafficking.

FY2016 CoC Application Meeting
The Detroit Continuum of Care (CoC) will be having a meeting on June 14, 2016 at 1:30 PM to discuss the process for applying for renewal and new FY2016 CoC funding. All agencies that intend to apply for funding in the FY2016 competition must be in attendance. The meeting will be held at the Salvation Army Southeastern Michigan Division Headquarters, located at 16130 Northland Dr., Southfield.
